Genre Representation

Our first sequence links to the pop genre, this is shown through our choice of costume as it is casual however creates an image for our artist which is also highlighted through the use of hair style and makeup.
Our second sequence links to the rock genre, this is shown through our choice to use music instruments to construct an image of our artist. The choice of instruments fulfils audience expectations, codes and conventions as seeing the band/instruments is a common theme used in indie and rock music videos.
Overall, the first sequence fits our song choice the best as the image of the artist would attract a female artist as well as our lyrics due to the relatable issues.
