CD Draft

Here is a first draft of our CD cover design, we think it fulfils audience expectations as it portrays our common theme of concealing self identity through the use of the VHS tape. Along with this the empty space around the artist on the front panel links with the title 'Empty' and highlights her vulnerability and isolation in society, as this is what the artist expresses in her lyrics. However, our design subverts the codes and conventions of a pop music video due to the lack of vibrant colours and direct audience address.
