Vernallis' Theory
Our decision to make our sequence non chronological, with a variety of effects shows how we are challenging Todorov's theory. The blue tone feature on our resolution still represents the cold nature of the image highlighting the depression that surrounded the young girl leading to her accident. In contrast to this our equilibrium still is now edited with a warm tone and titled squares effect to symbolise the childlike nature of the image. Finally, our disruption still now has a scrape effect in order to distort the image suggesting the conflicting society that surrounds the young girl has led to her rebellious lifestyle, as she can no longer conceal her true identity.
